WELCOME TO THE MISSISSIPPI RED ANGUS FALL CLASSIC AUCTION Hello Red Angus Family and Friends, Welcome to the 5th annual Mississippi Red Angus Association’s Fall Classic Sale!!! It has been a fun 5 years watching this sale grow and change into what it is today. This year’s sale event will be held October 23th and 24th in Raymond, MS at the Hinds Community College Sale Facility. There has been much work by the sale committee, board of directors, and consignors to make this a great event. I promise that you do not want to miss this event on October 23-24 as we celebrate our 5th annual sale. The cattle will be ready for viewing on Friday afternoon (Oct. 23rd) at the sale facility. At 6:30PM we will have a complimentary dinner which will be followed by our annual membership meeting and an educational program. The educational program has been very well received the last few years, and we sure are excited about the information that will be presented this year. Jesse Henson from the Red Angus Association of America’s Commercial Marketing team will be our presenter again this year. He will be following up on discussion from last year that was focused on value-added programs, and he will also be telling us about what is new and upcoming. Lande Johnson from the MS Hereford Association will be joining us again this year to give an update on the red-hided feeder calf sale that was started last year. If you have had the opportunity to join us for this Friday evening event in the past, you know that it is a great time of fellowship and learning opportunities. If you haven’t joined us before, I encourage you to make plans to attend this event this year. Cattle will also be available for viewing following the Friday evening event and again on Saturday morning before the sale begins at noon. As you look through this catalog, I think that you will agree with me that the consignors have done an outstanding job of bringing together a great set of cattle that can work for anyone. We have an offering that includes bulls, registered females, commercial females, and frozen genetics. I encourage you to study this catalog and contact the consignors to ask any and all questions that you may have about their animals. I am looking forward to a great weekend and getting to fellowship with you all. If you can not attend, the sale will be on DVAuction. We can help arrange trucking, if needed. Please reach out to myself or Kyle Gilchrist if you have any questions. I hope to see you all in Raymond, MS on October 23-24 for the Mississippi Red Angus Association’s Fall Classic Sale! LOT 9 – JBSF HOLLYWOOD N10
Sometimes you really wonder what you were thinking when you filled out the consignment entry forms for a sale, and this is one of those moments for us at J Bar S Farm. JBSF Hollywood N10 is an outstanding 18 month old bull that has a really exciting future ahead of him. Everyone that has visited the farm over the past year has asked about this bull, and we think you will see why once you study him. There is so much to talk about this bull, so we will try to hit the high points. First, let’s look at his pedigree. His sire is PIE Hollywood 222, the record setting red angus bull who sold for $400,000 that combines names like Abigrace, Ruby, Confidence Plus, and Quarterback. HW 222 has caused more buzz around the breed in the last few years than any other bull. N10’s dam, LSF SRR Crystal F8314, really needs no introduction as she is the dam of the now deceased bull LSF SRR Identity 0295H. Identity has produced some outstanding progeny including a $50,000 son, LSF VVF First Class 4736M, that we had the opportunity to purchase part ownership in, and his remaining semen has commanded premium prices. F8314 has earned an impressive MPPA of 107. Second, N10 has an EPD profile that is second to none. He has 5 EPDs in the top 10% of the breed: GM, BW, MARB, and CW; and 7 EPDs in the top 11-35% of the breed: ProS, CED, WW, YW, ADG, HPG, and CEM. Make note of the spread from -6.0 BW to 124 YW. All the EPDs that N10 excels in represent EPDs that affect your bottom line. Third, we would be remiss to not talk about his phenotype. N10 has a wide base and a wide top with plenty of rib depth. He stands on great feet and is as sound as a rock. He is smooth through the front ⅓ and looks like he is gliding when he travels. We thought enough of N10 that we used him as a 14-15 month old to breed some heifers this spring and summer. We are really excited to see how his progeny perform, and we know that he will be special in the years to come for his new owner. bred females. Nocha is our leadoff spring bred, sired by LSF DLL Locomotion out of a 3SCC Domain cow that goes back to a Ladner Livestock female we bought in 2018. Nocha’s dam is a moderate, very easy fleshing female that we felt comfortable crossing with Locomotion who adds a bit more frame. Fertility is built into this cow line, and it showed with Nocha settling first service to Ladner Livestock’s RLLL Red Blood Rico, the 2026 Houston Champion Red Angus Bull. The buyer will have to keep us posted, because we are very optimistic about this breeding! Phenotypically, we like the length and substance of bone
this dark female has. Genotypically, she is well balanced with ProS, HB, and GM all being in the top 30% of the breed. Consigned by: Tim Walker / Walker Cattle Company, Hernando, Mississippi 901/590-9564 twwalker10@gmail.com

Anyone who knows us has heard us mention RAA Bama 401B, the cornerstone of our herd who is still going strong at 12 years old. Nora is a great-great granddaughter of Bama. If she is anything like the dam, granddam, and great granddam, you won’t regret keeping your hand raised on sale day. Like 502N, she is safe in calf to RLLL Red Blood Rico mid-February. This line of females have impeccable udders and raise the good ones year in and year out. If you are looking for more growth, check out her top 8% weaning weight and top 10% yearling weight. Based on our experience, we think the top 18% Stayability is a very accurate prediction for Nora. However, when 3 full sisters rose to the top of the fall ’25 heifer crop we decided we could offer her here in MS. Another maternal sister to 223N, VETO Crystal 228M, was the second high seller of this event in ’25. 223N’s $90,000 sire @ ABS needs little introduction as he’s the 3rd most used sire based on progeny registrations in the ‘26 fiscal year. Her top 3% GM index is solidified by her 105 U/S IMF ratio. U/S confirmed bred 70 days on 7/30/26 carrying a heifer by LSF Ponderosa 5014N (5083377) pictured in our ad on page 24 of this catalog. The projected EPD’s for the in-dam heifer rank the top 10% ProS, and 5% or greater for GM, WW, YW, ADG, MB, CW and REA. 223N’s natural maternal brother sells as lot 8. used from the cow family that produced the great Yogo bull that was #1 for WW and YW in the Breed in his era. It is hard to let her go because of the impact that she has made, but she still has great potential to impact her new owner’s program. We have several daughters working in our herd now that are carrying on the Dakel cow family. The carcass values that the Dakel cow family has with multi-trait balance is breed leading. 703E has proven to be an elite source for carcass genetics. 703E scanned a 6.57 marbling and a 1.36 per hundred weight for REA. On top of that, she has earned a 108 MPPA. 703E has EPDs ranking in the Top 1-10% for CED, Marb, YG, and Fat and Top 11- 35% for GM,BW, ADG, CEM, and REA. 703E has multiple daughters and granddaughters that are working in our herd and herds all over the country. She currently has a daughter (BJR Dakel 104J) and a granddaughter (BJR Dakel 307L) that are in the donor program at Boot Jack Cattle Company. BJR is selling embryos from BJR Dakel 307L (703E’s granddaughter) X LSF JLM Leverage 3865L in this sale as LOT 19. 703E is 9 years old and she is still producing great numbers of embryos. 703E was AI bred to LSF JLM Leverage 3865L on May 8, 2026 and was confirmed bred carrying a bull calf on August 5, 2026. Leverage 3865L is the $130,000 bull that combines TBJR Della 502 and Confidence G140. He offers elite EPDs and added muscle mass, on top of his outstanding pedigree. The bull calf that 703E is carrying has herd bull written all over him. Dakel 703E is housed at an ET facility in Chinook, MT (Milk River Genetics). She WILL NOT be in Raymond, MS on sale day. She sells FOB. The new owner will have the option to leave her at the facility, if they choose. 703E’s flush records have always been impressive, and those records are available upon request. Proven donor cows with life left in them are hard to find. Here is your opportunity to own a proven donor who made her start in the BJR herd in Montana and has great potential to continue to produce for years to come.
