Welcome to the 5th Annual Mississippi Fall Classic
ring. Over these five years, when members of our Red Angus community have faced tragedy and uncertainty, the generosity of this membership has been on full display. People have stepped forward to support one another, honor those we have lost, encourage our young people, and help families during difficult times. Those moments have reminded us that while good cattle may bring us together, it is the people, the friendships, and the willingness to support one another that make this event special. As we celebrate our fifth Fall Classic, we sincerely thank every consignor, bidder, buyer, sponsor, volunteer, family member, and friend who has helped us reach this milestone. We are grateful for the confidence you have placed in this sale, but even more grateful for the relationships that have grown from it. We also are appreciative of the Sale Committee and our auctioneer, Kyle Gilchrist, for their efforts in gathering consignments and publicizing the offering. We look forward to another great Fall Classic where it’s more than a sale. With sincere appreciation, Mississippi Red Angus Association Board of Directors
On behalf of the Mississippi Red Angus Association Board of Directors, we welcome you to the 5th Annual Mississippi Fall Classic. Reaching our fifth sale gives us an opportunity to pause, look back, and be grateful for what the Fall Classic has become. What began as an opportunity to bring quality Red Angus genetics together in one place has grown into something much more. It’s more than a sale. Each year, cattlemen and women from across Mississippi and throughout the Southeast gather for the Fall Classic. We come to buy and sell cattle, but we also come to renew old friendships, make new ones, share ideas, and enjoy the fellowship that has always been such an important part of the cattle business. We are especially grateful to the consignors who have entrusted us with representing their programs and to the bidders and buyers who have supported them. Whether you have been with us since the inaugural sale or are joining us for the first time, your participation has helped make the Fall Classic what it is today. Perhaps what makes us most proud, however, cannot be measured by cattle sold or dollars through the auction
