Devotion to th e Lord and to Each Other. (1) THE LAWYER’S QUESTION, v. 25. _ The lawyer is simply a scribe whose duty it is to tran scribe th e law and also to expound and teach it. As a class they were cold, calculating, self-seeking hypocrites, thoroughly instructed in the law.
