El sistema On/Off es el punto de partida en cual- quier instalación. Su funcionamiento es sencillo: la luminaria se enciende o apaga mediante un interruptor convencional. A pesar de su simplici- dad, sigue siendo una solución útil en zonas de paso, espacios técnicos o puntos donde no se requiere atenuación de la luz. Destaca por su bajo coste y facilidad de instalación, aunque no permite modular el flujo luminoso ni integrar fun - ciones avanzadas de gestión.
The On/Off system is the starting point for any installation. Its operation is simple: the luminaire is switched on or off via a conventional switch. Des- pite its simplicity, it remains a useful solution for passageways, technical areas, or locations whe- re dimming is not required. It stands out for its low cost and ease of installation, although it does not allow light output to be modulated or advanced control features to be integrated.

Los sistemas L (Leading Edge) y C (Trailing Edge), conocidos como corte de fase, permiten regular la intensidad mediante la modulación de la ten- sión que llega al driver. • L (Leading Edge) se utiliza con cargas inductivas, como transformadores electromagnéticos o dri- vers específicos. • C (Trailing Edge) es la opción más habitual en drivers LED capacitivos, más estables y silencio- sos. Es importante verificar la compatibilidad entre regulador y driver, ya que no todos los equipos admiten ambos tipos de corte. Este sistema ofrece una regulación eficaz con una instalación sencilla, ideal para proyectos residenciales o de pequeña escala.
L (Leading Edge) and C (Trailing Edge) systems — commonly referred to as phase-cut dimming — allow intensity to be adjusted by modulating the voltage supplied to the driver. • L (Leading Edge) is used with inductive loads such as electromagnetic transformers or speci- fic drivers. • C (Trailing Edge) is the most common option for capacitive LED drivers, offering greater stability and silent operation. It’s important to ensure compatibility between the dimmer and the driver, as not all equipment supports both types of phase-cut. This system provides effective dimming with simple installa- tion, ideal for residential or small-scale projects.
