The 406,000 s/f apartment tower contains 321 units and includes studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts. Apartment features consist of floor-to-ceiling energy ef- ficient windows, balconies in all two-bedroom and corner one-bedroom units, side-by- side washer/dryer, and gen- erous closet space. The tow- er’s state-of-the-art kitchens feature granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, kitchen islands and track lighting. The luxury apart- ment building also possesses three parking levels, an office

floor, a 10,000 s/f retail area, an outdoor sundeck with a green roof, hot tub, grill area, and seating, a health club and a club room. Groundbreaking was held in January 2012 with the topping off in November 2012. Built on the former site of the Sydney Hillman Medi- cal Center, Hunter Roberts’ project team completed the cast-in-place concrete struc- ture in 10 months and was able to turn over finished units to the developer seven months later.

All units were completed within 19 months. In addi- tion to creating 800 jobs, this project exemplified Hunter Roberts’ track record of pro- fessionalism and efficiency. The sterling execution of this project is a prime ex- ample of what Hunter Robert is known for, and the positive buzz generated from the construction led to Hunter Roberts’ staff providing two dozen tours to current and potential clients over the past several months. n

BETHLEHEM TOWN- SHIP, PA — KRE Group and The Silverman Group broke ground on Madison Farms, a new mixed-use development that will bring 837 luxury residences and 140,000 s/f of retail space anchored by the ShopRite of Bethlehem to the fast-growing Lehigh Valley region of eastern PA. Municipal officials from Bethlehem Twp. joined repre- sentatives from KRE, Silver- man and ShopRite to ceremo- niously break ground on the project, which will include a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, carriage homes, luxury rental residences and various retail spaces. A vari- ety of dining establishments, shops and convenience stores are expected to fill out the re- mainder of the retail space. “Throughout the planning process we placed a keen focus on designing an environment that would cultivate a commu- nity and neighborhood feel,” said Jonathan Kushner , president of KRE Group. “Our architects and planners have done a tremendous job in that regard, and I think the final result is going to be something special for the region.” Bethlehem Township Board of Commissioners president Paul Weiss said Madison Farms is a highly-anticipated project, and the Township is happy to see it will be devel- oped in a well-thought-out manner. “I think it’s going to be a very exciting development.” Weiss said. n Madison Farms groundbreaking
