British Museum

Founded in 1753, the British Museum’s remarkable collection spans over two million years of human history. World-famous objects such as the Rosetta Stone, Parthenon sculptures, and Egyptian mummies are visited by up to six million visitors per year. It is the largest and most comprehensive museum in the world with permanent collection numbering 8 million works.

Millennium Bridge

Opened in 2000, it is a steel suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames, linking Bankside with the City of London.

Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre

Shakespeare’s Globe is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599 where many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed. The tour is available all year with audio guides in 6 different languages.

Wembley Stadium

Opened in 2007, it is the 2nd largest football stadium in Europe. Located in Wembley Park, it hosts major football matches such as the FA Cup Final and home matches of the England national football team. Wembley Stadium tours can be organised.
