NIBA / Community
Why You Need to Be at the 2026 NIBA Convention The NIBA Convention is where our industry comes together to connect, learn, and stay ahead.
If you’ve been thinking about attending in 2026, don’t just take our word for it - see what last year’s delegates had to say. From valuable connections to practical insights and standout speakers, the Convention continues to deliver real impact for brokers, insurers, and industry professionals alike.
“The 2025 Convention really drove home for me the importance of our roles as brokers advising clients on how best to navigate an increasingly complex market. We are so fortunate to work in an industry surrounded by so many incredible individuals.”

That’s not all. Dr Jana Pittman will join as our keynote speaker in Plenary 3! Two-time world champion, four times Commonwealth champion, Jana Pittman personifies resilience and determination. When continual injuries hampered her athletic career and could have signalled retirement, she swapped the track for the ice, joining the Australian women’s bobsled team and becoming the first woman to represent Australia in both a Summer (2000, 2004) and Winter (2014) Olympic Games.
“NIBA once again delivered an outstanding Convention, providing attendees with the chance to connect with industry leaders, exchange valuable insights, and shape the future of insurance. It was incredibly fulfilling to spend quality time with our valued business partners, strengthening relationships and discovering new opportunities for collaboration”
