Students at Pleasant Corners Public School proved they have real “green thumbs” when it comes to growing sunflowers. They all received sunflower seeds last spring to plant and nurture through the summer as part of the Champlain in Bloom project. When autumn arrived and the time for judging of all entries in this year’s project, many PCPS students earned themselves awards for the smallest, tallest, andmost original sunflower gardening results and also in the working together category.
