Pray that I stay close to the Word of God. Satan is out to get us. He’s shooting his fiery darts at us, and he’s attacking us at every level. Don’t sit around and criticize everything and everybody. Don’t let your life go sour. A critical spirit drains the joy of the Lord from your life. Be careful about what you watch on TV and the movies you see. Remember, God hates sin. So, be careful! Do you know how much God hates sin? When His only Son, the Lord Jesus, became sin for us on the Cross, God turned His back because He could not look at sin. Since most people today use the internet and computers, smartphones and iPads, it is very easy to get involved with pornography. It’s a major problem for people today. The Barna Group, which is a research organization, has compiled some astounding facts about how widespread this problem is even among Christians. Forty-nine percent of men between the ages of 50 and 68 view pornography monthly. Fifty percent of religious men stated that they were addicted to pornography. On the other hand, regular church attendees are twenty-six percent less likely to look at pornography. Don’t let yourself fall into the trap of pornography. It’s easy to fall in and hard to get out. Satan can’t take away our salvation, but he wants to ruin our testimony. Be a good finisher. As you cross the finish line, may you hear the Lord say, Well Done, thou good and faithful servant.
