Get Everything in Order
Are you ready to die?
I’m not asking about your eternal salvation. I trust you know Jesus. I’m asking, Have you made the practical preparations for your death? The way we prepare for our death reflects our love for our family. We are not being good stewards if we get ready to go to heaven but don’t take care of those who are left behind. Here are a few suggestions: Make sure you have all your documents in one place, and make sure at least one person knows where they are. Organize your documents so your family can find the important ones after you are gone. Make sure you have an estate plan such as a will or a living trust. Unfortunately, many Americans, including many believers, don’t have a plan. You know what they say... you have a plan whether you know it or not. Either you write your own estate plan, or the state will write one after your death.
