Introduction
I am an old man married to my beautiful wife. We just celebrated our 70th wedding anniversary... so now you know we are both old. My wife, Millie, and I were both just fourteen years old when we received Jesus Christ as our Savior, and we are thankful for the lifetime of years we’ve had to serve our Lord. I am writing this book so you will know that our service for our Lord is not over. We are still serving the Lord as we wait for His glorious appearing. The apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4:6-8 put it this way: For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. As we get older and reach retirement age, many people think it’s all over, so I’ll just coast from here on out. Through the years people have asked me if I am retired, and I tell them, Yes, I retire every night to go
