Amidst admiring the stunning foliage of the golden gingko trees arch at Gingko Avenue, Director 7 Nick Lee shared how blessed he and his wife was to be on this trip, “It’s been ages since we both had a couple’s holiday. Hokkaido is truly a beautiful destination. Most importantly, we had the chance to experience the Melaleuca culture in greater depth, and how the company enhances customers and builders too.” The trip to Hokkaido wasn’t just simply a journey to wonderful scenic places nor a gastronomic adventure, but it was also a learning opportunity for the participants as they shared their own experiences of building the Melaleuca business with each other. Expressing his gratitude to Melaleuca, Senior Director 8 Sean Wong says, “This trip allowed us to learn from other Marketing Executives, and we can draw inspiration from each other as well.” The participants also visited the Melaleuca Japan showroom, where they were warmly welcomed by the Japan management team. Fast Track is a result-driven program that plays an important role in motivating and inspiring Marketing Executives to focus on the right activities, as is the case with Senior Director 6 Ng Sio Hong, who says, “I advanced my Melaleuca business because of Fast Track, and I am rewarded for my efforts. I have thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful trip to Hokkaido.” Agreeing, Director 4 Loy Eva says, “What I really love about Fast Track is not just the trip, but the fact that it helped me grow my business. It pushed me to become a better leader and take my business seriously.” The participants were all encouraged to do more for their Melaleuca business, and resolved to qualify for the next Fast Track Trip. As Senior Director 8 Desmond Chan puts in succinctly, “I can only say, the Fast Track Trips just get better every time! Thank you very much, Melaleuca!”

What a remarkable year it has been. So much so, that there were three Fast Track Trips to Hokkaido, for Melaleuca Malaysia and Singapore, in the span of two months! Truly a testament to Melaleuca’s ever increasing growth rate. More than 170 Marketing Executives qualified for the all-expenses paid trip, which took place in September and October, in time for the cool fall weather and wonderful autumn scenery. Journeying together to various towns and places of interests in Hokkaido, the groups developed a rapport and bonded to build friendships to last a lifetime. Laughter and happy chatter were the soundtrack of these trips, with photographs capturing happy moments, as the participants visited one place after another, including a throwback to ancient Japan at the Dumbai Ida Times Ninja Village where ninjas and geishas in the Edo era came alive. The participants also marveled at the beauty of mother nature at Lake Toya at the Shikotsu National Park, Showa New Mountain and Farm Tomita, to name a few. Director 4 Sufridah Bte Abu Bakar shares, “I have never experienced this kind of hospitality. The food was great, and I was so taken by the beautiful places in Japan. I truly enjoyed myself, with this fantastic group of like-minded travel mates! I wish all of us will qualify for all upcoming Fast Track Trips together!” Director 5 Mary Lee, says, “Melaleuca certainly rewards us generously for our hard work. The itinerary was well planned as we felt like walking through a time machine–from the olden days of Japan experienced through the Ninja Village, all the way to the modern city of Sapporo. I will share my wonderful experience with my team members and have them join me at the next Fast Track Trip.”
