Legion aid for Family Centre
Officials of the Royal Canadian Legion (Rockland branch 554) presented a cheque for $1710 to a representative for Groupe Action Family Centre. The funds came out of the proceeds for the Legion’sMarch 25th Silent Auction, Dinner &Dance. Les résidents de l’Oasis de la Résidence Simon à Rockland ont amusé, et ont également été amusés par quelques petits invités spéciaux, la veille du Vendredi saint. The annual Clarence-Rockland community clean-up will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 9 a.m.; rain or shine. An ideal opportunity for all residents and for students who need to do volunteer work for their community to help clean our municipality of its winter garbage. Garbage bags will be supplied at the City Hall in Rockland. Bring your gloves. A barbecue will be offered at the Rockland City Hall.
