Foundation Degree in Pensions Administration and Management Three year duration Level four – five The pensions industry, whether it is public or private sector, is a complex industry. Students on the CIPP’s Foundation Degree in Pensions Administration and Management will engage in a work based learning experience to gain knowledge, understanding and confidence in their role. The business management modules within the qualification will provide students with transferable skills such as performance, time, project and operational management. Who is this qualification aimed at? Individuals who wish to enhance their opportunities of career progression through achievement of an industry recognised qualification, increasing their knowledge, confidence and ability within their role. Much of what you will learn will be based on your workplace and you will be able to apply the skills and knowledge in your everyday work. Tutors will be allocated based on geographical location to ensure maximum benefit to students. Your tutor will arrange your tutorials which will be held on a Saturday, usually in the morning l Attendance at induction and module workshops: please note that the trainer that delivers these courses may be different to your tutor l Exam and assignment fees: please note that there will be additional cost for deferrals and re-sits if required l University registration and the Heart of Worcestershire College student membership which includes specialist online support l Trial student membership of the CIPP for the duration of your studies, providing you with access to: m Six calls to the CIPP’s technical Advisory Service helpline throughout the academic year m Online Professional in Payroll, Pensions and Reward magazine m News On Line e-newsletter distributed with the latest news, updates and legislation Delivery The Foundation Degree in Pensions Administration and Management delivers work based blended learning. Each module consists of one module workshop, which is face to face and at various locations throughout the UK, a two hour tutorial which will be provided either face to face or online depending on your geographical location and home study through the CIPP’s student website. For employers with five or more learners the course can be delivered on your site. For further information please email education@cipp.org.uk . Exemptions Entry level to the Foundation Degree in Pensions Administration and Management can be at year one or two, depending on experience, allowing the qualification to be achieved in two years or three. Details of this can be found in the RPL information on page 35 . How do I enrol? Enrolments are annually in the autumn at cipp.org.uk .
