Le citoyen Gerry Bertrand a d’ailleurs accusé le conseil de non- respect de ses propres règlements. Lors de la réunion plénière, lundi, le citoyen s’est amené au podium en brandissant une lettre d’avocat. Celle- ci précisait notamment qu’en tenant ses réunions au 415, rue Lemay, à Clarence-

scène policière Une femme blessée grièvement Une femme âgée de 39 ans a été grièvement blessée à la suite d’un accident de la route survenu le 29 juin, sur le chemin Duquette entre les rues Pilon et Brazeau, à Clarence-Rockland. Le véhicule conduit par la victime a quitté la route et a roulé dans le fossé. Les pompiers du service d’incendie de Rockland se sont rendus sur les lieux pour retirer la victime du véhicule. Celle- ci a dû être transportée par hélicoptère à l’hôpital. Les policiers mènent actuellement une enquête afin de déterminer les causes de l’accident. Au moment de mettre sous presse, la victime était toujours soignée pour des blessures graves. Son nom n’a donc pas été divulgué. Incendies suspects La Police provinciale de l’Ontario, détachement de Russell, tente de retrouver le ou les individus responsables d’un incendie suspect. Le 28 mai, des policiers ainsi que des pompiers de Clarence-Rockland se sont rendus sur la rue Eliot, à Rockland. Des déchets avaient été incendiés de même que des bacs à recyclage. Le feu a été allumé entre deux complexes de condos. Conséquemment, la chaleur de l’incendie a fait fondre le revêtement extérieur des édifices. D’autres incendies de bacs à recyclage et de déchets auraient été déclenchés sur le Cercle Lemay de même que sur la rue Yvette. Dans le cadre de l’enquête, il a été déterminé que trois jeunes personnes ont été aperçues fuyant la scène. Toute personne détenant des renseignements sur cet incident est priée de joindre la PPO au 1-888-310-1122. Pêche illégale La PPO en collaboration avec le Ministère de ressources naturels (MRN) rappelle que la saison de pêche à la perchaude débute le 20 juin. La pêche hâtive de perchaude entraîne une diminution de la reproduction. Toute personnes qui est temoin de la pêche illégale est priée d’aviser le MRN en composant le 1-877-847-7667. lancé le maire Marcel Guibord.
