needs of businesses, stakeholders, employers and funders across our broad subject portfolio. • Building long lasting, impactful and mutually beneficial relationships with local, national and international businesses and stakeholders, and internal departments, with a view to increasing the quality and quantity of opportunities for students and staff. • Leading and managing a team that sources a range of employment opportunities for students and graduates including placements, work experience, internships and volunteering • Working closely with the Directors and other Heads of function to ensure that the Department works together to deliver an effective enterprise, employment and research development service to the University • Taking strategic responsibility for the development of the Unitemps franchise, and for developing and supporting strategic enterprise, establishing appropriate processes, procedures and systems and ensuring relevant targets and KPIs are met across this broad agenda. • Leading on the wider implementation of the CRM database and ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of the University as the single source of data for stakeholder and employer data. • Operating as an effective and collegiate member of the management team for the service to ensure the Department, the PVC Directorate, and the University is well placed to meet future challenges. • Working closely with the Employability and Skills Team to ensure that opportunities sourced reflect requirements in the Faculties, and that employer feedback informs programme development and student preparation.
