Standards & Approvals We have made significant investments in Wheelmarked, Warrington Certifier (TS63) BRE (LPS1207) and Lloyds Register accreditations on our flame retardant products to give you peace of mind when specifying and using our products. We are also members of the British Marine Federation. We provide temporary marine protection materials for all types of interior and exterior finishes including decking, carpeted and hard floor areas, walls, doors and hatches, furniture and fittings. Damage to high specification finishes are costly to repair or replace and this can lead to contract delays. Exova WarringtonFire and BRE Global Ltd have the backing of The Association of British Insurers and the Chief Fire Officer’s Association known as the “Joint Code of Practice”. Exova also have an approved EU Marine Equipment Directive (Wheelmark) scheme, with which a number of our products are certified. Use of non-Certifire or LPCB products may invalidate Insurance Policies for construction sites, the use of Ockwells certificated products offers confidence to both the installer and end client. Failure to use certified products or non-compliance with the guidelines set out by the EUMarine Equipment Directive 1/3.18a (or equivalent US Coast Guard accreditation) could invalidate your insurance. Developed to protect carpets during any new build, dry dock refit and on the run maintenance projects. Manufactured from heavy duty flame retardant polythene film with a special low tack adhesive back, Flame Retardant Carpet Protection Film is certified to the Marine Equipment Directive (Wheelmark). Designed to protect carpets on floors, steps and stairs on a temporary basis without creating trip hazards, unlike the traditional method of using dust sheets. Ockwells Self Adhesive Flame Retardant Carpet Protection Film should only be used to protect carpet for up to 4 weeks. Because there are many variations in carpet fibres and installation methods, the user should test the suitability of the carpet protection film in an unexposed area.

Hard Surface Flame Retardant Protection Films Ockwells Hard Surface FR Protection Film is fully certified to the Marine Equipment Directive (Wheelmark). Ockwells Flame Retardant Hard Surface Protection Film has been developed to protect hard floors in areas under construction and refurbishment. This protection is manufactured from flame retardant polythene film with a special low tack adhesive back that is designed to protect hard surfaces on a temporary basis without leaving a residue. Ideal protection for floors, walls, both internal and external glazing, galley units, worktops and most non-porous surfaces during ship construction or refurbishment.

Hard Surface Protection Films Ockwells Hard Surface Protection Film is available in both STD and Certified TS63 Flame Retardant grades. Our Flame Retardant grade is full certified to the Marine Equipment Directive (Wheelmark). Both grades are ideal protection for floors, walls, both internal and external glazing, galley units, worktops, tiled surfaces, doors, laminate flooring, and most non-porous surfaces during ship construction or refurbishment. Standard Hard Surface Film is also available in a handy MultiMate size, ideal for use in compact areas.
Glass Protection Film Temporary protection for glazedwindows and doors available from stock in Standard, Heavy Duty and Flame Retardant versions. • Standard clear, Standard blue & Flame Retardant films can be used externally and internally for up to 6months • Heavy Duty clear film can be left in situ externally for up to 12months • Our Heavy Duty, Standard blue and Flame Retardant films are UV stable, reducing the affects of sunlight on internal surfaces

Flame Retardant Foam Protection can be used on internal or external door frames in highly trafficked areas as well as Pillars and Handrails to ensure that expensive finishes are not unnecessarily damaged. • Circular foam is supplied pre-scored to be easily opened up and wrapped around frames up to 265mm wide • Combinations of foam and TwinShield protection board and door sleeves can be used to protect doors and frames on one or both sides. Flame Retardant Polythene Films Manufactured to LPS 1207 and fully accredited flame retardant polythene sheet. Available in three grades for a wide range of uses. Heavy and medium grades can be used as temporary screen walls when used in conjunction with Ockwells props and zip doors. Medium and light duty can be used as covering materials to protect against dust contamination and spill and splash covers.
Zip Doors Zip strips are self adhesive backed and can be adhered to flame-retardant polythene.
Zip Doors can be used in pairs to form large access for trades and materials into work areas.
