CLINICAL SERVICE Required Criteria
Expertise in clinical care which leads to excellent patient outcomes Development of clinical skills, improvement interventions, or programs that are locally or regionally distinctive Local and regional recognition of clinical and/or quality improvement skills TEACHING AND MENTORING Required Criteria Recognition as an excellent teacher of students, residents, fellows, faculty or continuing medical education participants High-quality mentoring of students, residents, fellows and/or faculty
RESEARCH AND SCHOLARLY ACTIVITIES Required Criteria Participation in research or other scholarly activities Established publication record
SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP Required Criteria Service to the academic health center or university, to professional organizations, and/or to the community Significant role in clinical programs Supporting Criterion Significant role in educational, research, advocacy, or community health programs PROFESSIONALISM Required Criteria Acts in a professional manner in interactions with students, trainees, patients, families and colleagues Maintains a high standard of ethics in research, if applicable
