Assistant Professor : Appointment, reappointment or promotion to Assistant Professor requires documentation of sustained contributions in one or more of the above Departmental activities. Associate Professor : Appointment, reappointment or promotion to Associate Professor requires substantial and sustained contributions and/or dedication to department teaching, research and patient care goals. There is an expectation of scholarly productivity or contributions that enhance the profession. Professor : Individuals appointed, reappointed or promoted to Professor provide continuing long-term and excellent contributions to the Department's teaching, service and/or research goals. The individuals should be involved in activities on the regional, state, or national level that impact those teaching, service or research goals.
