14/10/2026 CAUL Rider could offer no explanation for the performance after his mount failed to respond to his riding from the 600m. Post-race vet exam - No abnormalities. Trainer reported the gelding had worked well leading into today’s race and the stable had expected a forward showing. Addded in his opinion, Leonchroi was not suited by the way the race was run in that it appeared to favour horses that raced on pace and in these circumstances, he was not overly disappointed in the performance 10/10/2026 HTON Near the 150m was checked to avoid heels. Rider reported that although the gelding failed to quicken in the early part of the straight, it commenced to improve from the 300m before meeting with interference. Added that in his view the gelding would appreciate stepping up in distance. 07/03/2026 FLEM Hung out under pressure in the straight, proving difficult to ride out. 17/10/2026 CAUL Approaching the winning post was awkwardly placed on heels. 17/10/2026 CAUL Raced wide until settling outside the leader near the 1600m.

Onesmoothoperator (USA) 21/10/2026 GEEL Rider could offer no explanation for the performance adding it failed to quicken when asked for an effort. Vet reported no abnormalities. Soul Of Spain (IRE) 17/10/2026 CAUL Near the 2100m raced tight to the inside of runners. Over raced in the middle stages. Rider reported over-raced badly despite his efforts and when close to heels in middle stages allowed to shift out and stride forward.
Zahrann (IRE)
17/10/2026 CAUL Raced in restricted room near the 300m. Near the 200m was shifted back to the inside of Wine Dark Sea to continue into clear running. 17/10/2026 RAND Passing the 100m shifted out under pressure requiring its rider to stop riding and straighten.
