2.34pm LEXUS MELBOURNE CUP TROPHY CEREMONY VRC Chairman, Mr Neil Wilson, will deliver the Lexus Melbourne Cup to the Carbine Plinth before Jemma Rix performs the Australian National Anthem. 2.50pm Horses depart the Mounting Yard. 3.00pm Race 7 LEXUS MELBOURNE CUP (G1) Lexus Melbourne Cup Official Trophy Handover and Presentation Following CORRECT WEIGHT, the Chairman, Mr Neil Wilson, will escort Her Excellency, Professor, the Honourable Ms Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria, and Mr Jack Hobbs, Chief Executive Officer, of Lexus Australia, to the Mounting Yard where the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup Trophies will be presented to the Winning Owner, Trainer and Jockey. Following the Trophy Handover, formal speeches and acknowledgements will take place. This segment will be hosted by Mr Eddie McGuire AM, Nine Network Melbourne Cup Carnival Host. Lexus Melbourne Cup Trophy Presentation Following the Trophy Handover, Mr Neil Wilson and Mr Jack Hobbs and the winning connections will be escorted to The Winners Bar where formal speeches and acknowledgements will take place. This presentation will take place in The Winners Bar. 4.35pm Race 9 THE HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB STAKES (G3) Following CORRECT WEIGHT, Mr Glenn Carmody, Honorary Treasurer & Director, will escort Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges GBS JP, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, for presentation of the Trophy to the Winning Owner.
