Autumn Highlights March 2026 We celebrated St Patrick’s Day with a fantastic performance from a solo bagpiper who played both traditional and electric pipes and shared a little of their history. One of our residents even joined in for a song, which made the afternoon extra special. We finished the day with St Patrick’s Day treats in the cafe. We headed out to Bellmere Strawberry Farm for morning tea, enjoying fresh refreshments and a lovely change of scenery. We also visited a childcare centre in Rothwell, where the time spent with the children lifted everyone’s spirits enormously. One resident’s daughter joined us on the day, which made it all the more special. And our Easter hunt with the kindy children at the end of the month was a joy from start to finish. We spent time in the garden, enjoyed a relaxing afternoon country bus trip, made pancakes together, and created a beautiful Harmony Tree to mark Harmony Week. The kitchen team also baked orange cupcakes in honour of the occasion. The Easter Bunny paid us a visit, delivering eggs and smiles to everyone, with one of our staff members joining in the fun by dressing up. Our residents also took the lead on morning exercise this month, with staff enthusiastically joining in. And one of our residents started teaching a staff member how to knit, which was a lovely moment for everyone.
