NORTHERN IRELAND’S ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY
TURNED OUT FOR A GREAT DAY OF FOOTBALL AND FUNDRAISING AT CRUSADERS FC’S
Nine teams took to the pitch at Crusaders FC’s Seaview Stadium in Belfast on May 15 for the NI Electrical Industries Charity Shield, delivering a fantastic day of competitive football in support of the Electrical Industries Charity. After a series of hard-fought group matches, the tournament culminated in an all-Edmundson Electrical/Mercers Belfast and Greentech derby in the final, with C.K Tribe, overcoming fellow Edmundson side Thorn United, to lift the Charity Shield. The competition showcased the best of the electrical industry both on and off the field. Most importantly, the event raised valuable funds for the Electrical Industries Charity, which provides financial assistance, emotional support and practical resources to people within the electrical and energy industries when they need it most.
