my firm’s employee resource groups. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? While I attribute the suc- cess I have achieved thus far to a few different factors, I would not be where I am today if it was not for the sup- port of many of my Cushman & Wakefield team members, especially Ben Brenner and Bill Brown. I was hired by both Ben and Bill right out of college and they have served as not only colleagues, but great mentors. To say they have positively influenced my success in the real estate industry thus far would be an understatement. I feel grate- ful for the guidance and sup- port they have and continue to provide me. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and

why you choose the field/ profession you are in today? During my senior year of college at Monmouth Univer- sity, I interned with David Zimmel of Zimmel Associ- ates, which solidified that I was on the right track with my aspiration of becoming a real estate broker. As a busi- ness major, I was focused on finding a career that would provide me the opportu- nity to utilize the skillsets I learned in school, as well as have the opportunity to interact with different people every day. Upon graduat- ing from the Kislak Real Estate Institute in 2015, I started my career as a real estate broker at Cushman & Wakefield, where I still work today. This position provides me the opportunity to do something different and interact with new people every day and that is what I love most about it. MAREJ

Be- ing trusted to support and advise my clients is my favorite part of being a com- mercial real estate broker. Over my tenure at Cush- man & Wakefield, I have spearheaded more than 150 transactions for clients ranging from mid-market, New Jersey-based firms to Fortune 500 global real es- tate portfolios. Additionally, after personally working on a team that sourced, pitched and won the business, I am the account manager for Panasonic’s global real es- tate portfolio, something I am very proud to be trusted with.

networking helped me in my early years at the firm. I am also an active member of our Women Integrated Network (WIN). Outside of Cushman & Wakefield, I am currently serving as a Board Mem- ber and the Young Leaders Committee Co-Chair for the CoreNet Global New Jersey Chapter. Networking with members of the real estate community has helped me develop into the professional I am and I am thankful for the relationships I have cre- ated and the lessons I have learned through CoreNet and

How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? Being involved in my com- pany and industry organiza- tions is very important to me. I am currently serving as the Chapter Lead for New Jer- sey’s Cushman & Wakefield Future Leader’s (CWFL) em- ployee resource group, which is comprised of all profession- als with less than 7 years’ ex- perience in the real estate in- dustry. Providing the oppor- tunity for new professionals to network with their peers is important to me because that
