What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most successful in your profession? Some of my characteristics that have led to my success in real estate would be my composure, ability to solve problems and work-ethic. Networking is a vital pillar for success in real estate mixed with the right personality it can create bigger success. I quickly realized that when you are passionate about what you do, conversation and relationships come easily. Who do you feel was most influential in your life when choosing this profession? My parents are the most influential figures in my life especially when it comes to making significant life deci - sions. My parents brought me to America at a young age. I was always aware of that
great sacrifice which moti- vated me to work hard and become successful not only for myself but for my whole fam- ily. All their unique attributes instilled within, has inspired me to become the person I am today. What outside activities do you enjoy during your free time? I enjoy staying active and playing sports. I play soccer in a NJ league that is very competitive with peers my age and younger. I enjoy travel- ing, learning new cultures and exploring new cuisines. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduating from college today? The best advice I can give to someone graduating is sur- round yourself with great peo- ple. Go outside of your circle and build new relationships. Associate with people who have similar goals and can make you grow as an individual. It’s an important step to a successful career in any industry or as an entrepreneur. MAREJ

When I think of the greatest impact that paved the way for me, immediately I think about the beginning, how the backbone of my success is tied to the year I joined The Kislak Company. I began my career arranging the $5.9M sale of a 20 unit new construction building in Bayonne, which marked the largest per unit transaction in the city. It served me well, raising my profile as a broker in Hudson County. How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? I specialize in the sales of investment properties in one of the most competitive com- mercial real estate submar- kets in the nation – the New York/Northern New Jersey MSA. I strive to form strong relationships with some of the region’s most prominent owners and investors, while absorbing market knowledge and finding creative solutions
for clients. After my first year with the company I received an award that recognized a newly hired salesperson who had the greatest achievements during the year. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? The strongest influence in my career has been Avi Oren, Senior VP & Sales Manager and Robert Holland, President of Kislak. From the beginning Kislak was able to provide thorough in person training with an industry veteran that has been in the business for over 20 years and 35 years respectively. They both taught
me the right way to approach the business. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/ profession you are in today? I began my career with The Kislak Company after graduating Rutgers with B.A in Economics at 22 years old. Initially, I interned with Kislak Co. the summer before graduating to get real expe- rience in investment sales, today I’m a Vice President at the company.
