PUT SCIATICA PAIN BEHIND YOU WITH RELIEF TODAY!

“ VERSE OF THE MONTH “ “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10

If you’ve experienced back pain, and even leg pain, you might have a deeper issue. Your minor aches and pinched nerves could be symptomatic of sciatica. While “sciatica” may sound serious, it’s entirely curable. What Is Sciatica? Sciatica is pain that radiates alongside the sciatic nerve. This nerve, which branches from your lower back — spanning across your hips, buttocks and legs — can be injured or stressed in several ways. The most common cause of sciatica- related pain is inflammation along the spine, where compressed nerves are aggravated. While sciatica pain can be intense, it is treatable. A lot of sciatica cases, in fact, can be resolved without operation — and within just a few weeks. Even if you’ve suffered severe sciatica spawned from leg weakness, bladder changes or nerve issues, there’s still hope. What Causes Sciatica? In most cases, sciatica occurs when one of the back’s discs are herniated. It can also happen if the spine narrows — an effect called spinal stenosis. As we age, our backs undergo a lot of stress. This stress takes a toll, causing inflammation in several areas. If this inflammation reaches a certain point, it may compress these nerves — resulting in pain. If you have been suffering from back pain or sciatica, contact us today to seek treatment. Sciatica back pain is normally noticed as a pain radiating from the lower back. Often, this pain extends to the buttock, spiraling down the leg and extending to the calf. If you’re suffering from sciatica, you might feel the discomfort anywhere along this nerve pathway.

The pain itself can be dull, aching or even

sharp. In some cases, the compressed nerve may feel like it burns. In other cases, the compressed nerve may simply issue a sharp jolt of pain. Some people experiencing sciatica may experience leg numbness, tingling or weakness. If sciatica isn’t treated, it can hinder mobility altogether. How Physical Therapy Can Help with Sciatica. If you’re experiencing sciatica, contact a physician immediately. Medical News Today asserts that over-the-counter painkillers may alleviate pain, but in-depth physical therapy is often needed. Physical therapy can reduce sciatica compression by carefully introducing exercises and relaxing treatments. These treatments, hand-picked by professionals, can completely eliminate sciatica over time. If you’re experiencing back pain, don’t wait. Call one of our professionals today, and ask about physical therapy options. Your mobility is important, and your back can be healed. “I really enjoyed recovering from my vertigo.” "When I first started having problems, my doctor said I had vertigo, which I couldn’t believe because I’veflownaircrafts fromwhen Iwas15until Iwas62. I was sent to Southwest Georgia Rehab to do some therapy, and Dr. Stacey Hathcock started working with me. At first, I thought he had completely lost his mind because he was making me so dizzy that I thought I was going to throw up a couple times, but he was showing me all the problems I had. We started working together a couple days a week, and I took home one of their pads to continue my exercises at home. When I finally got to where I wasn’t falling off it, I was excited! It took a while. Whenever I started to have that feeling again, Dr. Stacey showedme a new procedure to help. When we started working, I couldn’t even wash my hair in the shower because I had to use one hand to hold myself up, and if I stood up out of a chair quickly, I would fall. Now, Dr. Stacey’s got me to the point where I can close my eyes, turn my head and be walking backwards without having any problems. We went from terrible to fantastic. Now, I’m at a point where I can build radio-controlled third-scale aircrafts that I have to lay down on the shop floor for. I can do that, turn over left and right, and stand up. Before, when I laid down on the floor, everything would spin and rock. But now, I’m excited because I can do everything I previously did before I started, and then some. I can’t thank Stacey and all the personnel enough because they really were fantastic, everybody’s attitude was fantastic, and it’s highly unusual to find any kind of business you go into that everyone is 100% professional. I really enjoyed recovering from my vertigo.” - Leroy R. Stacey is currently completing advanced certifications for orthopedics and the highest level of vestibular rehab.
