Formed in 2013 by the Tasmanian Hosptiality Association (THA), the foundation raises money to assist young Tasmanians and their families with vial assistance that is not able to be provided by Government or through other means. The foundation is run through the THA with the association taking responsibility for all administration and associated expenses so that every dollar raised through fundraising efforts, is directed to those in need. Since its inception, more than $70k worth of goods and services have been donated.
We have a voluntary board of people within the hospitality industry, associated businesses and corporate partners and we strive to make a difference to the lives of those less fortunate in our state. We have committed to providing a minimum of $2,000 per month and are always looking for additional children and families to support.
