Knight Frank’s dedicated Transition team is experienced in change management, and our transition processes are well established. We understand every transition and onboarding new management is as unique as each of our clients and their assets. This is why we have an established and dedicated Transition team. Mari Rossouw is head of the team, who will work closely with the onsite management team to ensure the transition is a seamless experience for customers and key stakeholders. The Transition Management Plan has an over-arching dashboard that highlights project milestones, items completed, and at risk, and tracks the project through to completion.

The transition process runs through the following phases:
Our transition to Knight Frank was well managed notwithstanding the challenges of legacy data issues. Knight Frank’s national leadership team worked alongside the HomeCo portfolio team to systematically resolve these issues and did not call the transition “done” until they had built a well resolved and solid platform for our growth. We are almost continually acquiring new properties and/or portfolios, and Knight Frank rises to the challenge of smoothly onboarding these properties, often at short notice. • Agree scope and contract terms • Confirm owner setup, reporting requirements and banking structures • Agree transition timelines and go- live dates
• Obtain and load building, tenant, financial and operational data • Set up contractor lists, asset registers, scheduled work orders, WHS and compliance data • Set up MRI, VISION and FRC systems • Set up system access and training where required
• Communicate with customers and suppliers, informing them of new processes • Finalise and sign off data • Generate first rental invoices and statements • FRC / Helpdesk service active • Commence live processing: work orders, payables, receivables
• Data cleansing • Follow up of outstanding transition items • Project close and BAU
