Your hips, knees, and lower legs are tough—but injuries happen. Your hips and knees are your largest joints, supporting your body’s weight. They work in close coordination, giving us the mobility we need. Between arthritis, injuries and age, however, pain can flare up. If you’re experiencing hip, knee or leg pain, call us to schedule a closer look. Before you do, however, let’s examine the pain itself.

Whether it’s a high school female basketball player or a 45 year old club hockey player, CPTE’s athletic trainers and PTs understand the unique characteristics of growth and development, as well as male versus female athletes. Our goal is to determine the cause and depth of the injury and to get them back on their feet and playing again quickly. CPTE’s certified athletic trainers cover all sports at three area high schools, as well as local, state, and regional tournaments. In addition, CPTE covers a number of area triathlons, bike events, and road races. Our goal is to offer our expertise to coaches, athletes, and parents. We provide injury care and sports conditioning clinics to coaches, athletes, and parents in area recreational leagues (youth and adult). I enjoyed the experience and looked forward to each therapy session. Success Story - J. Desmond “I was training for the Boston Marathon and developed hip pain as my mileage increased. I took advantage of CPTE’s free injury assessment and discovered that my gait was wrong and it added stress to my hip joint. With 8 weeks to go, I started physical therapy with Dave. He did a great job in calming my hip pain and modifying my gait so I was running more efficiently. I not only finished the Marathon pain free, my time was 20 minutes faster than my goal. Dave and his staff were professional, friendly, and encouraging. I enjoyed the experience and looked forward to each therapy session. It was clear that every other patient in the clinic felt the same way I did. I recommend CPTE to everyone!”
