Retired burlesque queen Beatrice Shelton needs a vacation. A Sassy Seniors Cruise through the Caribbean may be just the ticket if she can convince, Eaddy Mae Clayton, to stop praying and go with her. Things have not been very pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since Nurse Pat Jones began working there. The newest resident, Imogene Fletcher, is suddenly losing her memory. Maude Jenkins is obsessed with her favorite soap opera and planning her funeral. Sam Smith, retired Elvis impersonator, keeps trying to bed every woman in the building. Blind Dating at Happy Hour is a laugh-out-loud comedy. The action of the show takes place in Wes and Rosie’s Tavern, a local establishment with an interesting collection of clientele. It follows Corwin Landcaster, who has arrived at the tavern an hour early tomeet thewoman,Miss Richmond, that he has been corresponding with online. He has high hopes that the night will go perfectly, only to be pulled into the wild lives of the other patrons. By the end of the evening, Corwin has a black & blue eye, a drink stained shirt, and is torn between asking out Allie, the local bartender, or waiting for Miss Richmond to come through the door. The Housekeeper

Foundering a bit after the death of his aged (and domineering) mother, Manley Carstairs, a self- styled literary artist, engages a housekeeper, Annie Dankworth, to look after his large Victorian house (and himself). When Annie first arrives, wearing sneakers and carrying her belongings in a grocery cart, Manley is taken aback, but she seems so eager to please that he relents—after which their relationship progresses rapidly from initial reserve to active hatred. Eventually Manley can take no more, but when he advances on Annie with strangulation in mind, he trips, falls into her arms, they embrace, and the rest is history. May 7 - 16, 2021 By James Prideaux

The old fishing pier out on the end of Cypress Lake has just fallen under the magic of another Catfish Moon. It was the favorite hangout for three best friends. Now Curley, Gordon and Frog are older, and the problems that come with middle age have eroded the closeness between Frog andGordon. The final straw comes when Frog discovers that Gordon is dating his ex-wife. Curley, in an attempt to recapture the friendship and settle all disputes, convinces Frog and Gordon to go on an overnight fishing trip like old times. The poignant resolution of the play brings Gordon and Frog to the realization that life is too precious and too short to let true friendship get away.
