#303 | Technology, Social Media, and Antisocial Behavior in High-Risk Youth: Strategies to Strengthen Caregiver Control and Reduce Risk This session explores how technology and social media influence antisocial behavior in high-risk youth. Learn practical strategies to help caregivers improve monitoring, set effective boundaries, strengthen communication, and reduce behavioral risks associated with online activity, peer influence, and excessive or unsafe technology use. Suzanne Kerns, PhD is a Clinical-Community Psychologist, Professor, and Director of Transformative Research at the Kempe Center. Her focus is on enhancing the wellbeing of children and families through ensuring access to proven-effective treatment approaches using implementation science. She is the Network Partner Director for the Rocky Mountain Multisystemic Therapy Network. Dana Garofalini, LMHC, LPC is the Co-Director of the Rocky Mountain Multisystemic Therapy Network at the Kempe Center for Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. Her work focuses on supporting high-quality implementation of evidence-based treatment through fidelity monitoring, clinician development, and systems collaboration. Dana supports MST teams across Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona and has specialized experience in telehealth implementation and training. #304 | SMI Barriers and Transitions: Collaboration Overcoming Complexity As providers continue to serve more people experiencing serious mental illness, the Civil and Forensic Mental Health Services offers a collaborative approach to address the needs of the most complex individuals in our system to ease that complexity. Owen Love, MHA, MA, LPC, LAC, ACS has served Colorado’s behavioral health system for 17 years, from direct care to senior leadership, and currently serves as Division Director of Outpatient Services for Colorado’s Civil and Forensic Mental Health Services. Owen has dual Master’s degrees in Counseling and Business. Bonnie Wright, MBA, MS has worked in Behavioral Health since 2005, progressing through clinical and leadership roles, currently as Division Director of Mental Health Transitional Living Homes. Measurement-Based Care (MBC) is becoming a standard for high-quality behavioral health and value-based care readiness. With practical insights from Greenspace Health and a real-world implementation from WellPower, highlighting strategies to improve outcomes, integrate data into workflows, and navigate implementation challenges. Harry Williams is Vice President of Clinical Partnerships at Greenspace Health, supporting adoption of measurement-based care (MBC) across mental health and substance use services. Harry and his team have helped lead 500+ MBC implementations. He mentors with Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada and supports early-stage tech companies. Cathie McLean, MA, LPC, CAS is Director of Quality Systems at WellPower in Denver. She has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare settings spanning physical health, mental health and substance misuse services, and is a strong advocate for whole-person care. Her passion lies in co-creating and implementing data-informed continuous quality improvement strategies for successful engagement and outcomes.
