The instructor shall: Explain the relation between the risk assessment and mitigating precautions Present and describe the basic outline of a risk assessment Describe where the slinger signaller can typically find a risk assessment

Lead a discussion on what information identified in the risk assessment must be consulted before commencing slinger signaller tasks, e.g. control measure per risk as per the toolbox talk or similar

The participants shall: Engage in the group discussions on the purpose of a risk assessment Discuss the consequences of not being aware of identified risks before commencing slinger signaller tasks PRACTICAL 570 min. Overall practical time allocation of 570 minutes is to be used by training providers to allow effective delivery and assessment of all practical outcomes by learners. The aim of the lesson is to enable the participants to conduct slinger signaller tasks responsibly, safely, and efficiently in a wind turbine environment. After having successfully completed lesson 3 of the Slinger Signaller Module, the participants can: 28) Take responsibility for their role as a slinger signaller (Ability, intermediate level) 29) Act independently and responsibly in carrying out generic routine lifts in accordance with the lift plan and on own initiative seek guidance when needed (Ability, intermediate level)
