The participants shall:
Actively engage in discussions and answer questions about safety hazards commonly present when conducting bolt torquing using electric and hydraulic tools
Actively engage in discussions and answer questions about mitigating the hazards commonly present when conducting bolt torquing using electric and hydraulic tools
Share understandings and considerations with instructors and other participants
Take responsibility for their learning by seeking guidance and clarification when in doubt
During the practical training on torquing, apply their knowledge on the connection between the characteristics of a tool, the torquing force and the severity of potential injuries risks and share their considerations about the individual's positioning regarding this hazard
Take active part in discussions about how to avoid injuries to body parts caused by slipping and incorrect use of tools

The aim of this lesson is to train participants to, safely and correctly, carry out bolt torquing tasks to specification using both electric and hydraulic torquing equipment.
After having successfully completed lesson five of Bolt Tightening Module, the participants can:
