The instructor shall:
Explain and demonstrate the toxic symptoms of the body:
a.
assessment of different reactions of the body
b.
immediate first aid measures
c. the need for medical teleconsultation for further treatment
Ask the participants about involving questions about the toxic symptoms of the body
The participants shall:
Engage in answering the questions and share understandings about the toxic symptoms of the body
ELEMENT 5.11 - EYE INJURIES
Learning objectives:
61) The participants can describe the treatment of eye injuries (Knowledge, basic level)
62) The participants can apply eye dressings and use an eye wash bottle (Skills, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Explain and demonstrate the treatment of eye injuries:
a. Advice coming from an emergency doctor on the removal of corrosive substances or the use of antidotes
b.
applying eye dressings and using an eye wash bottle
Create exercises on applying eye dressings and using an eyewash bottle
Give constructive feedback to the participants performance in the exercises
The participants shall:
Engage in answering the questions and share understandings about the treatment of eye injuries
Engage in the exercises and practise applying eye dressings and using an eye wash bottle
