Description of changes

Overall changes Version 3 changed to Version 4 The duration of the training standard has changed to 21 hours to meet HSE guidelines on duration and content and ensure that additional enhance first aid skills are obtained. Section specific changes 6.1 Instructors requirements section rewritten to better express appropriate qualifications and experience. 6.1 Instructors – requirement number 5 was removed to further align guidelines and requirements

Lesson 1: Introduction Duration changed from 25 min to 15 min

Lesson 2: Risks/hazards/legislation Duration changed from 50 min to 30 min Elements 2.3- National Legislation and 2.4- Global Legislation were removed but added as additional Instructor

Lesson 4: Management of An Incident - Emergency Response - Medical Teleconsultation Duration changed from 100 min to 40 min Few learning objectives and activities for skill and ability level were removed since they will be covered in the lesson 7: scenario-based training. Learning Objective 22 updated with ‘by using telemedical consultation according to local emergency response plans ‘ The instructor shall: 4.1.1 Sub-element b-d updated, and sub-elements e-f removed Learning Objectives 29-32,34-37 updated and moved to ensure alignment Learning Objectives 30-31-33 and 39-44, including learning activities were removed to be covered in the later lessons 4.2.1-4.2.4 -updated to make clearer the methodology 4.3.1-4.3.7 -updated to ensure alignment 4.3.8-4.3.10- learning activities updated to align with GWO Taxonomy
