Comprehensive Plan Adopted in 2023, the City’s Com- prehensive Plan outlines a long- term vision for growth, land use, infrastructure, and sustainabil- ity, aligning with M1M to develop a well-integrated transportation network by 2050.
NCTCOG 2045 Mobility Plan
Play Big The Park, Recre- ation, and Open Space Master Plan guides the long- term development of parks, trails, and recreational facili- ties, with a focus on reinvestment, land acquisition, and in- tegration with M1M to enhance con- nectivity and active transportation.
Connecting the Core This plan assesses how regional growth will impact mobil- ity in and around downtown, identi- fying multimodal, streetscape, transit, and infrastructure solutions to enhance connectivity and support Panther Island and Butler Place Plan recom- mendations.
This comprehensive transportation plan for North Central Texas focuses on improving mobility, enhancing quality of life, and ensuring system sustaina- bility through better transportation op- tions, infrastructure maintenance, and implementation.
Master Thorough- fare Plan (MTP) Adopted in 2016 and updated in 2020, this plan guides the planning, development, and management of the city’s arterial net- work, emphasizing multimodal trans- portation, roadway classification, and land use integration to support growth.
Active Transporta- tion Plan (MTP) Adopted in 2019, this plan envisions a connected and accessible network of sidewalks, trails, and bicycle facilities, prioritizing safety, equity, ADA accessi- bility, and seamless integration with M1M to enhance mobility and reduce reliance on vehicles.
Butler Place This plan seeks to reconnect and strengthen Fort Worth’s Central Area by identifying mobility solutions, enhancing infra- structure, and promoting mixed- use development to support a vision for a more accessi- ble and connected downtown.
Urban Villages This program
promotes economic growth in key com- mercial corridors by expanding employ- ment, increasing the tax base, and improving quality of life. Fort Worth’s 17 Urban Villages are integral to M1M and models for vibrant mixed use develop- ments.
