adjacent suburbs of Trophy Club, Westlake, Keller, and Watuga rather than to the west into Parker County. Other strong travel patterns include north- eastern and eastern Fort Worth to the DFW Airport and adjacent industrial area as well as Fort Worth to White Settlement and Fort Wort to Aledo and eastern Willow Park. TRAVEL TO FORT WORTH FROM BEYOND Figure 02-30 depicts inter-district trips starting outside Fort Worth and ending inside the city as well as the associated trip activity density. As this analysis is limited to trips crossing the City of Fort Worth boundary, no intra-district trips are included in this analysis. In addition, inter-district trips are visualized for all analysis district pairs exceeding 100 trips (rather than 250+ used for the Within Fort Worth analysis) due to lower inter-district volumes. Notably, the strongest travel patterns entering Fort Worth in the morning are located adjacent to DFW Airport. Other strong travel patterns into Fort Worth include travel from the adjacent northern suburbs of Trophy Club, Westlake, Keller, and Watuga while relatively few strong trip patterns are from Parker County to the west, similar to the relative strength of western versus eastern travel patterns presented in the “From Fort Worth” anal- ysis. See Appendix 3 for an OD analysis of major employment focus areas.
