3.2.6 Capacity Gaps Results The LOS gap analysis provides a measurement of serviceability gaps through compounding steps to highlight areas where the projected traffic (2050) exceeds the capacity of the roadway (i.e., V/C > 1) and capacity improvement projects are feasible based on projected capacity and ROW. Corridors in the city as well as regional gaps in the vicinity of city boundary were included in the analysis. Corridors identified as potential capacity improvement projects meet the following criteria: • 2050 NCTCOG projected V/C is greater than 1.0, i.e., segment is exceeding capacity.
