For local bus services, Trinity Metro demonstrated the highest OTP among its peers, with an average of 89 percent of trips operating on time. This significantly outpaces VIA at 84.5 percent and CapMetro at 74.7 percent. Trinity Metro’s strong performance may reflect advantages such as less congested operating environments or more effective schedule adherence. For Express routes, Trinity Metro Trinity Metro also led in OTP, achieving 85 percent OTP, with VIA following closely at 83.0 percent. These findings suggest that Trinity Metro performs well in maintaining schedule reliability across both service types, especially when compared to its Texas peer agencies.
