3.5.3.4 Priority Temporal Gaps Figure 29: Priority Temporal Gaps
As shown in the map above ( Figure 29 ), high-priority temporal gaps are concentrated in areas with major employers, educational institutions, and commercial centers. Examples include the Super Target and Walmart areas along I-20, as well as the Las Vegas Trail/Camp Bowie corridor in the west. These locations support significant late-shift employment and shopping activity, pointing to strong use cases for extended evening or weekend service. Medium-priority gaps appear near Rock Quarry/Overton Ridge, Sycamore School Road, and the TCC Campus/Veterans Affairs Clinic. These are places where improved weekend or early morning service could increase transit accessibility for students, healthcare users, and workers. Low-priority temporal gaps, while less urgent, still represent opportunities to incrementally improve network equity and coverage.
