Concentrating growth without infrastructure support leads to unacceptable congestion, while targeted roadway and transit investments can meaningfully offset these impacts and improve system performance. Importantly, this analysis does not prescribe a single preferred solution. Instead, it provides a transparent, defensible framework to evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize investments, and guide future updates to long-range plans. The findings reinforce the value of using scenario planning as a decision- support tool so that Fort Worth’s transportation system evolves in step with its growth vision. Together, the results establish a clear foundation for advancing M1M and CtC priorities and for shaping future mobility investments that support economic vitality, accessibility, and quality of life in Fort Worth.
