ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS » Aquatic Resources : An unnamed tributary to Village Creek crosses the proposed alignment. » Threatened and Endangered Species : A habitat assessment is recommended due to potential impacts to undeveloped land within the project area. » Environmental Due Diligence : The presence of a commercial facility and railroad within the project vicinity could represent a Recognized Environmental Condition (REC). Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is recommended. PROJECT COMPLEXITY The top challenges include railroad involvement, floodplain present, NEPA involvement, ROW constraints, utility relocation risks, 2 bridges in the project limits and retaining wall need.
