PROJECT PURPOSE The project will close a key gap in Fort Worth’s roadway network by restriping the existing pavement to create a four-lane divided arterial roadway to improve mobility, safety, and pedestrian access. Provides a direct east-west connection, reducing travel delays and enhancing regional access across southern Fort Worth. Reduces congestion, improves travel times, and accommodates increased passenger demand. Incorporates dedicated sidewalks and bike lanes on both sides of the roadway, promoting walkability and cycling accessibility.
