ITINERARY Day 1 Embark in Cologne - Zaandam We arrive in Cologne and board our ship at 14.00, before cruising to Zaandam. Day 2 Zaandam Today’s optional excursions include a city tour of Amsterdam, the vibrant capital of the Netherlands, and a visit to the famous Keukenhof Gardens, covering an area of 32 colourful hectares (79 acres). Day 3 Zaandam - Enkhuizen - Rotterdam We may wish to enjoy an optional Windmills & Delicacies experience today – a classic Dutch combination! Day 4 Rotterdam - Dordrecht - Arnhem Enjoy exploring with today’s optional excursions, starting with visits to Rotterdam and Delft – known for its blue and white Delftware pottery – followed by an evening walking tour of Dordrecht. Day 5 Arnhem - Cologne On arrival in Arnhem we may wish to embark on a walking tour of the city before cruising to Cologne. Day 6 Disembark in Cologne After breakfast, we disembark at 09.00 and make our way home. Day 1 Embark in Amsterdam (or nearby port) We arrive in Amsterdam and board our ship at 18.00. Day 2 Amsterdam (or nearby port) - Wijk-bij-Duurstede
Today’s optional excursion is a guided tour of Amsterdam. We first visit the Rieker Windmill, built in 1636 and located on the riverbanks of the Amstel River, before heading to the Diamond District to visit a diamond merchant. We discover how diamonds are valued and see them transformed into jewels. Our last stop is Amsterdam’s famous floating flower market, Bloemenmarkt Day 3 Wijk-bij-Duurstede - Rotterdam We spend the morning cruising before making our way to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens (included). Covering an area of 32 hectares (79 acres), around 7 million flower bulbs are planted in the gardens annually and it is widely known for its tulips, with flower shows, inspirational gardens and royal pavilions to explore. Tonight is our gala evening. Day 4 Rotterdam - Antwerp Today we cruise towards Antwerp with time to explore the old city in the company of our host/hostess. Day 5 Disembark in Antwerp After breakfast, we disembark at 09.00 and make our way home.
