ITINERARY Day 1 Embark in Cologne - Deventer We arrive in Cologne and board our ship at 15.00, before cruising to Deventer. Day 2 Deventer - Kampen Today we may wish to visit Het Loo Palace & Gardens, admiring the magnificent, 17th century Dutch baroque palace and strolling through the stunning gardens. Day 3 Kampen - Lemmer - Groningen Today’s optional excursions include Giethoorn, known as ‘the most beautiful village in Holland’, and an orchid farm with over 2,000 butterfly species & a ‘floating’ flower garden. Day 4 Groningen We have the option of joining a Groningen city tour today. Day 5 Groningen - Delfzijl - Sneek Today’s optional excursion is a visit to Papenburg with its famous Meyer Werft shipyard, one of the world’s largest and most modern shipyards. ITINERARY Day 1 Embark in Düsseldorf - Amsterdam We arrive in Düsseldorf and board our ship from 15.00, before cruising to Amsterdam. Day 2 Amsterdam Today’s optional excursion is a charming canal cruise – a must when in Amsterdam. We pass magnificent 16th and 17th century buildings as our covered boat sails through large and small canals and under low bridges. Day 3 Amsterdam - Rotterdam We sail to Rotterdam where we can enjoy a guided walking tour to discover the city’s best and most important sights, as well as the old harbour, Maritime Museum On arrival in Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands, an optional guided walking tour reveals its rich history and medieval monuments including the Valkhof, St Stephen’s Church and the Mariken.
