Slovakia and Hungary, with their fabulous capital cities, on one delightful river cruise. Take in wonderful Danube scenery as we sail through the scenic Wachau Valley between Krems and Melk. ITINERARY Day 1 Embark in Engelhartszell (Passau) - Vienna We arrive in Engelhartszell and board our ship at 16.00, before cruising to Vienna. Day 2 Vienna Today’s optional excursions include a guided city tour of Vienna, a Vienna by Night experience and a Viennese evening concert. Day 3 Vienna - Esztergom We have the option of visiting the Basilica of Esztergom by tourist train today. Day 4 Esztergom - Budapest Optional trips today include a guided tour of Budapest & a Budapest by Night experience. Day 5 Budapest - Bratislava Today’s optional visit to the Puszta, known as the Great Plain of Hungary, features a traditional horse show. Day 6 Bratislava - Melk A guided walking tour of Bratislava is included today with a further optional visit to Bratislava Zoo. Day 7 Bratislava - Engelhartszell We may wish to visit Dürnstein and Melk Abbey today. Day 8 Disembark in Engelhartszell (Passau) After breakfast, we disembark at 09.00 and make our way home. ITINERARY Day 1 Embark in Passau - Melk We arrive in Passau and board our ship from 15.00, before cruising to Melk. Day 2 Melk - Esztergom We have the option of touring Melk Abbey today. Day 3 Esztergom - Budapest Today’s optional excursions include a visit to the Basilica of Esztergom by tourist train, a guided city tour of Budapest and a Budapest by Night boat tour. Day 4 Budapest - Bratislava We may wish to enjoy a Budapest Tram, Culture & Tasting experience today. Day 5 Bratislava - Vienna Today’s optional excursion is a Bratislava city tour complete with beer tasting. Day 6 Vienna - Linz We have the option of enjoying a Vienna guided city tour and a visit to Schönbrunn Palace. Day 7 Linz - Passau Today we may wish to enjoy the view from Linz’s Pöstlingberg before embarking
on a sightseeing tour of the city. Day 8 Disembark in Passau After breakfast, we disembark at 09.00 and make our way home.
