In memory of Joseph Ubald Beaulne (Jos), who passed away with his family at his side, at the Ottawa General Hospital, on January 16, 2020 at the age of 98 years. Survived by his loving partner of 42 years Vera Cross, his son Ron (Maureen) and his grandchildren, Melanie (Joel), Gabrielle (Joel), Adam, Pamela and Jason along with 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Elzear Beaulne and Alida Tessier, his daughter Viviann and many brothers and sisters. Joe was a strong willed, proud and very intelligent person who lived a full life. He worked as a fireman in the armed forces, was owner of a hotel in Earlton for a number of years, was also on the road salesman for another part of his life. Every chance he got, he enjoyed travelling with his motorhome, enjoying the life next to a lake and admiring the scenery! Vera and him lived in their own home until the end. He enjoyed taking care of his yard, sitting on his beautiful deck admiring his numerous trees. We say good-bye for now and may you rest in peace Dad... may God reunite you with your family and friends, from up above. Have a little shot of “brandy”!! The family will greet relatives and friends, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 25 at the St. Jacques church, for the condolences. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. The family would sincerely like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Ottawa General Hospital, for their excellent and compassionate care. Hélène Latour-Denis Nous avons été très touchés de votre affection et de votre soutien lors du décès de Maman, Hélène Latour, survenu le 24 décembre 2019, à l’âge de 87 ans et 2 mois. À vous tous qui par votre présence, vos pensées, vos dons et vos écrits chaleureux, nous vous remercions sincèrement dans ces tristes moments. Les funérailles ont eu lieu le 28 décembre 2019, en l’église de St-Albert. Sa présence nous manquera à jamais.
