accepted, and we had an earnest conversa tion about the things of God. She had been studying Science for a year and a-half and was just about to become a member of the church. She had gone into it for healing and because she was unhappy and unsatisfied; but she wanted the truth and promised to follow only the Bible. Her attention was called to the Scriptures which show the deity of Christ. She was inter-' ested and said Mrs. Eddy did not teach that. On our second call we took a dis- pensational chart and talked to her about God’s plan of the ages. This led to some questions about the devil. We said, “You will accept what the Bible teaches con cerning Satan?” She said she would. She was then given, “What the Bible Teaches,” by Dr. Torrey, and as we were busy, did not return for some time. On our next visit she expressed herself as so glad to see us and said she couldn’t tell how much that book had meant to her. She had taken her Christian Science literature out into the yard and burned it up. She has become a most earnest, spiritual Christian, and a regular attendant upon the services of a good, orthodox church, and bears constant testimony to her Lord Jesus Christ, not only by her words, but by a face full of light and joy, so much so that her neigh bors notice and speak of the great change which has come to her.

Thank God for the “Biola Rest Room.” At a Bible class, held after the neighbor hood prayer meeting, a middle-aged woman testified that at one of our Bible readings, about five years ago, held in their church, she for the first time realized that God was her Father. She had been an active worker in the church for many years, but had never known what it was to be born again. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never per ish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” It was an out of the way street. The worker had been repulsed next door; the woman would not even accept a tract, and the tempter sjid, “What’s the use of going further?” But the Holy Spirit led on, for in that last house, beyond the large swinging gate, there was a hungry heart. A rather young looking woman came to the door and we told our errand, inviting her to a Bible class we) are holding in the neighborhood. After a little con versation, putting another question with a prayer back of it. “Was she saved?” “Yes” she said, “I think I am, but hot the way you are; I am a Scientist,” and then, “Won’t you come in?” The invitation was
