THE LUCKIEST SIGNS THIS WEEK: CANCER, LEO, AND VIRGO.

ARIES Some confusion is possible at the begin- ning of the week but a second cup of coffee should enable you to recuperate your dynamism and accomplish some minor miracles. TAURUS After a stressful time, it’s important to take a step back and get some rest. You’ll need to recharge your batteries and to experience a sort of rebirth. GEMINI You will probably have to put in some overtime at work. Fortunately, your friends will extend to you some interes- ting invitations that will enable you to relax with them. CANCER Your head is in the clouds, perhaps because of a trip or a romantic escapade. You may even begin to plan living abroad or undertaking some form of expedition. LEO You know that it is necessary to make some big changes, especially in your circle of friends. Taking action on this front will relieve your stress and let you tap into new hopes and dreams more suited to your needs. VIRGO Getting through some strong emotions is on the agenda this week. Avoid putting yourself in situations where you have to make all the decisions; if you do, you will subject yourself to unnecessary criticism. LIBRA You have to do some strategic jostling at the office to manoeuver yourself into a better position. Stay the course, and you’re sure to be offered the possibility of travelling and discovering new cultures. SCORPIO You are in the spotlight among your friends and work colleagues. All these people give you a helping hand with some necessary changes. SAGITTARIUS You welcome all your loved ones into your home. You have lots of fun but be pre- pared to accept that your guests might not stay to help you clean up afterwards. CAPRICORN There are lots of people around you who seem to offer a running commentary on everything you say and do. It is important that you listen to the little voice in your head; let it guide you in the right direction. AQUARIUS You like both the stability and financial independence that your job brings you. However, you’re seriously thinking of giving all this up for a more creative and adventurous life. PISCES You are overflowing with ideas and initia- tives. It is possible that your plans will change with your mood, which will irritate some of your loved ones.

METHOD: Preheat oven to 180ºC (350ºF). In a small heavy saucepan, combine 125 ml (1/2 cup) sugar and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved (do not let mixture boil while stirring). Increase heat to medium-high and boil, without stirring, until mixture caramelizes and is golden in colour, 6 to 8 minutes. Pour immediately into a 20 cm (8-inch) round baking pan, tilting pan to cover bottom. Stir eggs with 125 ml (1/2 cup) sugar until blended. Stir in hot milk, orange rind and vanilla. Avoid overmixing. Pour into pan over caramel mixture. Place in a pan of boiling water and bake until mixture is set, 40 to 45 minutes. Remove from hot water. Cool on a rack. Cover with foil or plas- tic wrap and refrigerate overnight or up to 2 days. To remove from mould, run a spatula carefully around custard. Invert a rimmed serving plate over custard and turn over. Serve in wedges.
