Award manufacturer celebrates winning one of their own custom-made prizes
When Gaudio was named as one of the winners at the Investors in People Award, they could vouch for the quality of the prize. That’s because the Tewkesbury-based firm, which specialises in making custom-built trophies and awards had manufactured the prize themselves. The firm has been manufacturing bespoke awards for the past 12 years. It is the company behind the MasterChef Trophy and have produced awards for global companies, like Coca Cola. Each award is expertly created by skilled manufacturers at its base on the Tewkesbury Business Park. The Investors in People awards recognise companies which support their staff to do their best work and cultivate a positive work environment to make staff happier, healthier and stronger. With dedicated designers, project managers and craftsmen all under one roof, Gaudio's distinctive methods caught the eye of the judges. Managing Director, Adam Hutchinson said: "Our unique setup allows us to be versatile, but none of it would run smoothly without the dedication and creativity of our people. Gaudio wins IIP Award
The finishing touches have been made to a “world- class” manufacturing facility at Poeton Industries’ Gloucester home. Customers from across the manufacturing industry were invited to the official opening of the firm’s revamped thermal spray facility. Chairman Anthony Poeton opened the event by reflecting on the history of the Eastern Avenue base. He described how the building was originally used to process Formula 1 engine components before being converted to its current use after a change in F1 regulations.
